About the Principal

I was a high school math teacher at Lyndon B. Johnson High School with U.I.S.D. for four years and came home to Zapata High School. At Zapata High School, I was a math teacher for an additional four years.  I was an assistant principal at Zapata Middle School for one year and assistant principal at Villarreal Elementary for seven years. This will be my second year as principal of Villarreal Elementary.  I have served our district for a total of 13 years.  

Fidel and Andrea R. Villarreal were my grandparents.  This campus means so much to me and I promise to make them very proud as well as the community of Villarreal Elementary.
